Air Fryer Chocolate Croissants

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • 3 oz dark or milk chocolate chopped or in bar form
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out puff pastry just enough to smooth the folds.
  • Cut into 4 squares, then slice each square diagonally into triangles.
  • Place 1-2 tsp of chocolate near the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up from wide end to tip (like a crescent), and tuck the tip underneath.
  • Brush with beaten egg.
  • Air fry at 350°F for 8-10 minutes until golden and puffed.
  • Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Chocolate sticks (like baking batons) work beautifully.
  • Want it extra gooey? Add a few extra chocolate pieces inside.
