Ingredients

For the Donut Holes:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 –2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
  • Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add wet ingredients: Stir in milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla until a thick batter forms.
  • Form dough balls: Lightly grease your hands and roll tablespoon-sized portions into balls.
  • Air fry in batches for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until golden and puffed.
  • Make the glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Dip and dry: While warm, dip each donut hole into the glaze and let set on a wire rack.

Notes

  • Want cinnamon sugar instead? Skip the glaze and roll in cinnamon + sugar while warm.
  • You can use buttermilk in place of regular milk for extra tang and tenderness.
