Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups mini pretzels or pretzel rods
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or candy melts
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips optional for drizzle
  • Toppings: sprinkles crushed nuts, coconut flakes, crushed peppermint, sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate in 20-30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip pretzels halfway into the chocolate. Tap off excess.
  • Place on the lined tray. Immediately add toppings before the chocolate sets.
  • (Optional) Melt white chocolate and drizzle over dipped pretzels for contrast.
  • Let pretzels set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Notes

  • Add a bit of coconut oil to chocolate for extra shine.
  • Use dipping tools or a fork for cleaner coating.
