Ingredients
  

For the brownies:

  • 1 box brownie mix plus ingredients listed on box or homemade brownies

For decorating:

  • 1 cup chocolate frosting store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies Oreos work great
  • 24 candy pumpkins such as Brach’s mellowcreme pumpkins
  • Green frosting or sprinkles optional for “vines”

Instructions
 

  • Bake brownies: Prepare brownie batter according to package or recipe. Spoon into greased mini muffin pan. Bake as directed (usually 12–15 minutes). Cool completely.
  • Frost tops: Spread a small layer of chocolate frosting on each brownie bite.
  • Add “dirt”: Dip frosted tops into crushed cookies to coat.
  • Decorate: Press a candy pumpkin into the center of each brownie. Add green frosting vines or sprinkles for extra cuteness.
  • Serve & enjoy: Arrange on a platter for the sweetest pumpkin patch ever!

Notes

  • Shortcut: Use store-bought brownie bites and just decorate!
  • For cleaner edges, freeze brownies for 15 minutes before decorating.
  • Double the batch—they go fast at parties!
